The Arts

Each art has a purpose. The goal isn’t to collect styles — it’s to build a complete fighter: awareness, timing, structure, composure, and decisive skill.

The Founder

I’m Marcos Vilchez — a lifelong martial artist and coach focused on functional skill and personal development through training. Martial Flow is built around a simple idea: teach what holds up under pressure, and train people to stay calm enough to apply it.

My main instructor is Bob Breen (4D Combat), under whom I earned Black Belt in JKD / Kali. My approach is also shaped by the Inosanto lineage (JKD, Kali, Silat, Muay Thai) and coaches who emphasised integration and realism.

Credentials
  • JKD / Kali: Black Belt under Bob Breen
  • BJJ: Purple Belt under Fabio Prado (Roger Gracie lineage)
  • Wing Chun: UKWCKFA + additional training with Kevin Chan (KAMON) and Sifu Francis Fong
Training influences
